Tracking4Fun S.r.l. was a beneficiary of the “BOOST-HITRECH” project, co-financed with POR-CReO FESR 2014-2020 funds – Call for Proposals A 2018 – “Support for MSME for the acquisition of innovation services“, composed by two integrated activities:
- First level feasibility studies service (A2 service);
- Technical design service for research and development and for product and / or production process innovation (B1.3 service).
The HITRECH product, developed by the company Tracking4Fun Srl, is an innovative 2D tracking kit designed for indoor and outdoor sports; the environments are circumscribed by mobile and self-configuring receivers (Radar), which triangulate and locate the small wearable transmitting devices (Tags) and send the data to the control and management software (App) for a real-time analysis.
The project aimed to improve the HITRECH technology in order to enhance the product with accessible final costs, improving the real-time communication layer, working on the gain of the receiving antennas, and optimizing the radio coverage of the playing field.
In addition to the research, development and product improvement activities, the project included an evaluation of the marketability of the product, as well as a series of activities aimed at maximizing the competitiveness factors of HITRECH on the market, also through access to calls for tenders and financing of European level.
The project – lasting 6 months – saw the collaboration of the beneficiary Tracking4Fun S.r.l. with PIN suppliers S.c.r.l. and Resolvo Srl, for a total investment of € 72,500.00 and a total assigned contribution of € 55,250.00.
